Lucy began her dance career 17 years ago as a ballroom and latin dancer taking part in competitions all over the country.  She then became interested in salsa and lambada and spent a short time teaching and demonstrating in the midlands and still enjoys going to salsa events today.  Lucy then discovered the wonderful world of tango and was instrumental in developing tango in Manchester by jointly setting up tangomanchester, teaching at various venues throughout the area including the regular milonga which is still held at La Tasca in Manchester.  Lucy has travelled extensively and has studied with some of worlds greatest tango dancers, Pablo and Dana, Sebastian and Mariana, Fabian Salas and Chicho Frumboli.  In 2006 Lucy set up Strictly Tango teaching classes in North Manchester for 3 years, she has now moved the dance school to Preston becoming the first Argentine Tango dance class in the area and hopes to spread the joy of tango to the people of Lancashire.
